One of the resons I installed Abyss was for support of "partial downloads." I assumed that this meant it could resume partial downloads... something that is desired since I serve very large AVI/MPG content. I recently however attempted to pause a download with a manager (Download Express), and it informed me that "this server does not support resumed downloads."
Does Abyss X1 actually support file resume, or is there something I need to do to activate resume support? If it doesn't actually support resume, 1) What then do you mean by supporting partial downloads?, and 2) Is it forseeable that this can be added to the "To Do" list?

Oh this server supports resume's , thats one of the reasons i like it so much , your download manager sucks all the other download managers said that this server supports resumes , you don't have to do any configuring , try star downloader or some other software , it seems that your software does not support abyss web server. 8)

Abyss do support resume download. I have use "GetRight" and it resume where it left-off.

I was thinking it may have been the manager (MetaProducts)... DOH! :twisted:
Star Downloader sucks.. it doesn't support most %xx characters or password handling. :roll: I'll take a look at GetRight. Thank you.

I never heard of Star download before. Humm.... beside GetRight, Go!zella (sp) is another.
