If our smtp server is local only people on your network , router or lan network , can view the page , put something like you@you.no-ip.com
you.no-ip.com is your SMTP server , its hard to explain , I will get in touch with you later , just look on your msn messenger if you have one 8) _________________ This web server is the best ! |

Since I do not use argosoft but Icewarp by Merak, your Mail server only need to detect DNS server. Set your router to the port where your mail server listen to your mailserver default port (ie - Port 25 for SMTP and Port 110 for POP3). Next to set your Domain name to MX. Make two subname like webmail and mail. You should be see from URL stand point as webmail.mydomain.com and mail.mydomain.com. Set or forward that to your mail server and it directory or folder (ie - you.public.IP.address:Port/mail) for your webmail.mydomain.com. This will be webmail accessible. Set your mail client POP3/SMTP to web.mydomain.com. This will be mail client accessible. That should be it.
01. Check your Mailserver find the DNS server. It should auto detect.
02. Set your Router to port 25 for SMTP and 110 for POP3
03. Set your Domain register to MX record for subname mial. Webmail do not need MX or MXE record. Regular URL frame will be fine.
04. Make two subname in your Register Domain. webmail and mail.
05a. For subname mail. You can use mail client to access it by entering POP3/SMTP as mail.mydomain.com.
05b. For subname webmail. You can access by using your browser and enter URL : webmail.mydomain.com.
06. Again for webmail. Make sure your domain register to your mailserver and it port and or it folder to login. _________________ CapFusion,... |
