whenever i try to start my server, i get this message
Configuration file: C:\ABYSS\abyss.conf
Can't open log file 'log/access.log'
Can't open log file 'log/cgi.log'
and i cant start it :( theres probably some stupid thing im doing wrong... i just dont get it :( help would be appreciated!!

It probably has to do with your abyss configuration file , send me your abyss config file in a zip and i will tell you whats wrong

I found your problem , when you emptied both your cgi and web site logs , you ended up typing your log path wrong , here's what you need to do
Open your abyss configuration file and find the 2 lines
LogFile log/access.log
CGIErrorFile log/cgi.log
and change it to
LogFile log\access.log
CGIErrorFile log\cgi.log
Your problem is simple just change the / to \
I HOPE I SOLVED YOUR PROBLEM ! 8)

Than I don't know what the problem is , try uninstalling abyss and make a back up copy of your web site and after installing the new one you will have a new config file with everything back to normal :D

when it asked you to remove your old config file , did you , if you didn't than yes it won't work :?:

It seems that you changed the server root path. If so, just create a subdirectory called log in the new server root directory and restart Abyss Web Server.
