I had my server installed in a w98, and Abbyss web server works right, but when i've tried to install in a computer with w2000 ...
* I can't connect from another computer in my lan
* I've errors with my CGI programs.
and .... I've discovered that I can't load Abbyss like a Service. :(
I don't know if it's a problem of W2000 (like an internal firewall) or it's a problem of Abbyss that it doesn't work right in this SO.

Abyss Web Server works OK on Windows. Check your network setup for the LAN issue; install correctly the CGI interpreters for CGI, and search in that forum for "Running as service" for workarounds to make Abyss run as a service.

Abyss will work in Win2k [Server / Pro / Advance / etc..]
If you can not access from your other PC or other LAN PC to Win2k, you most likely did not make a user account on your Win2k for other PC to connect. In other word, no permission. Try creating a username and password the same as other PC have. Also, make sure you also share your folder for the other PC to get access to.
Also, if you have a firewall on your Win2k, then disable it and see what happen.
Try to resolve this problem first before tackling other problem. In another word, fix one problem at a time. Unless you know what you are doing.
