				To tidy things up at my website i created folders and sub folders, but they are appearing in the URL.

Example :: http://www.mywebsite.com/folder/subfolder/myfile.html

So as you can see the URL is huge and I am trying to eliminate the folder and sub folder from appearing in the URL, so it looks more like

http://www.mysite.com/myfile.html

To view the problem you can go to my website http://www.helpvid.net and follow the tutorials link, as you will see the deeper you go folder and sub folder appear in the URL.

I have one folder named "tutorials" and inside that folder I have several named

dreamweaver

photoshop

flash

after effects

fireworks

So I am trying to eliminate these folders from appearing in the URL, the only thing I want to appear in the URL is the .html file which is stored withn these folders

 example mywebsite.com/myfile.html |

				Sorry, this forum is for support for Aprelium's Abyss Web Server. The .htaccess documentation should be on your Apache's help, or support forums.

I did verify that you are running Apache, so this may be the best avenue to resolve your issue. _________________ Audit the secure configuration of your server headers! |
