ok here it goes...I created an account with dyndns so i could webhop from 71.173.13.118:9988 to crazyjust.kicks-ass.net. Everything worked well for the most part. When a person typed in crazyjust.kicks-ass.net it took them to 71.173.13.118:9988.Today i got a domain name with godaddy for a year. http://www.Just-N-Freak.com It is parked free whatever that means lol. They had me set up my hosts as ns1.just-n-freak.com and ns2.just-n-freak.com. for the ip i couldnt put in 71.173.13.118:9988..my isp blocks 80 so i cant use it
for this. I just have 71.173.13.118 for the ip on there..Will this work or what will i have to do? |

http://www.Just-N-Freak.com:9988 is what'll get you to your website if the domain is pointing to your IP address and everything's properly configured. Unforunately, DNS does not do anything about ports.
Log in to godaddy and click domains -> my domains.
Click on your domain name.
You'll see a bunch of stats about the domain. Click on domain forwarding. The link will say "domain is not forwarded".
On the forwarding tab, enable forwarding and type in http://71.173.13.118:9988 in the forward to box.
Click on the masking tab.
Click on mask domain and type in the title.
Then http://www.just-n-freak.com will load up with your site. _________________ Stephen
