|
|
So I have this error in my scripting.log file:
Code: | 03/Nov/2007:07:22:38 -0700 SUID: 181 PUID: 181 RUID: 0 URI: Reading 0 bytes failed = The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
03/Nov/2007:07:22:38 -0700 SUID: 181 PUID: 181 RUID: 0 URI: timeout-header2! |
It seems to happen once per every new instance of php-cgi.exe. I've searched Google for answers about this "Timeout-Header2" error, and only this thread showed up as anything useful. It said that this error would be fixed in 2.4, but I'm guessing that they meant the multiple instances of php-cgi.exe?
Anyways, if anyone knows how to stop this from happening, I'm all ears.
I've also got another problem: AWS sometimes puts about 500KB worth of NULL (Hex 00) characters in either my access.log or scripting.log. I haven't figured this out, but it doesn't do it again if it's already there; if I remove the characters, it'll simply put them in one of the files again. _________________ http://phaux.bounceme.net:82/ |

I just sent them a bug report (PHP Developers) about the problem. Surprisingly, no other bug reports are related.

Alright cool thanks. I've really had a problem with PHP or Abyss so I've never needed to post or call out for help. I like the quick response too, so thanks again.
So what's the wait time on a bug report? The bugs site is not responding for me so I can't see it... _________________ http://phaux.bounceme.net:82/ |

The site seems to be a little slow lately. Just click on the link and wait for it to load up. |

Mine didn't always used to do it too. But it has been doing it a while, and it's kinda annoying. Hopefully it's an easy fix, like changing a one to a zero, eh? _________________ http://phaux.bounceme.net:82/ |

It would help if you guys vote on the Bug Report and post replies saying that you have the same problem. ;-)

Alright I did. Thanks again for submitting a bug report, I have never needed to do one before. So I guess we wait till they fix it or find a workaround? _________________ http://phaux.bounceme.net:82/ |

This occurs on Windows when you delete a log file and when Abyss Web Server is still having it opened for logging. The file is deleted and immediately recreated by Windows. All bytes before the last position Abyss Web Server was writing to is filled with NULL characters. So to delete a log file, stop Abyss Web Server and delete it, then restart. _________________ Support Team

This problem has been reported in the past and here is our official reply: http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=62207#62207 .
PHP FastCGI implementation has some problems that cause that behavior. Abyss Web Server just reports what it experiences with PHP FastCGI. If you do not want to see these messages, just turn FastCGI logging off. _________________ Support Team
