				| I just descovered that my IP changed.
I was using www.tk for a more simple name for my website (not my IP adress) but then the link stopped working, and when i tried typing in localhost into the adress bar it worked... so i put 2 and 2 together and realized that my ip changed, checked it, and its right.

is there any way to stop that from happening...

How would a normal internet website server run without the adress changing all the time?

 any information will help!

 thanks!!!

				| You basically have two options...
 1. Pay and upgrade your Internet Connection to a static IP OR ask them if they can provide you with one as long as running a server is allowed according to their policy...

 2. Check out http://www.dyndns.org or http://www.no-ip.com for a middleman solution to your dynamic IP... Basically, the services will give your IP a name and map request to the name to your changing IP... Please Note: you will need a third party application to monitor your changing IP...

 Good luck :)
