mysql not opening

When I try to uncompress mysql it says read error I'm using windows ME, fire fox 2.001.

Redownload it. It sounds like a corrupt file.

nope, no go......says extracting...then I get error can not read file. I download another unzip program & I get RCR error on this file setup.exe, skip this file?

It sounds like your ISP is having issues with packet loss and the package is becoming corrupt on the way to your pc or the file is corrupt on the server you're downloading from. Try downloading the mysql file from my site. Its on the mysql tutorial page.

Fixed! The server download site from N.Y has corrupt files.
