I want to know if it is possible to configure the Web Console to use port 80 instead of port 8080 , 9999 or whatever it is people use. instead i wanna be able to type in
http://console.mydomain.com/
login prompt and then your in. Main reason behind this is the school i go to blocks all port except 80. |

nope you cant use the console on a subdomain (name.site.whatever) you can put it on any avalible TCP port (like 81, 90, ECT....) so ask your school to allow you to run TCP ports 80 and 81 :D _________________ Where have i been? School got heck-tick, had to move half way around the state, then back... and then i had to change jobs, so iv been away for a while :P |

Create a subdomain and redirect it to port 9999.
If you're trying to bypass a firewall, I would recommend you to try port 443, 22 and 21. |

I use 8080 as my console port as most schools have this port un-blocked because some of the software the schools use this port. _________________ My online Portfolio |
