Damn im already sick of the word cant find mysql extension when i go in to my phpMyadmin. Can anyone help me>?

phpMyAdmin - Error

Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. - Documentation

Im using PHP 5.1.2.2, PhpMyadmin 2.8.0.3, and Mysql v4.1

Can i still use Mysql v5?

Can anyone please show me a specific guide to this problem. Please? :cry:
