Ok I am really new at this ~Started two days ago~ but I have picked everything up very quickly!

The issue that I am having is that I cannot login to http://localhost/ or http://127.0.0.1/, but my site is full up and full outside my server. Also I can login to the console from the same machine.

My firewall and router are both completely configured and forwarding all of the ports apropriotly.

Thanks in advanced

Oh and I forgot... I did check my browser to make sure I didn't have a proxy setting in there!

What error do you get when trying to access localhost? Is it a 401, 404, 403, or
another type of error? This information will help us more.

Check your access.log file to see what has been logged when trying to access
localhost on the same machine. Did anything get logged for the IP Address of
127.0.0.1, or is it all outside IP Addresses?

This is the error that I am recieving.

Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

And there is no log created for the attempt.

Does this file exist on your computer?
Location: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Can you access localhost on another browser? Such as I.E.?

I'm clueless as to what is going on, sorry.

I can try and help you figure out the problem over MSN Messenger if you
want. My MSN: msn@trustabyss.com

Note: Make sure you're accessing localhost from the same machine as the
server, or you won't be able to access it.

Also ensure that if Abyss is running on a different port, you append it to the end of the host name.

eg: localhost:8080
