I got a ftp server installed and setup called Quick n Easy FTP Server, then i used FileZilla to check to see if it works and it does.
i gotta use my 192.168.0.11 IP adress and the login name and password i created for everything to work right, but thats not my internet IP.
My friend wants to upload a file to my computer and i was wonderin what do i have to do for him to upload the file from my website? (like uploading a picture on a dating site or something) _________________ ~TRU~ |

If you have a router, you need to port-forward the port used by ftp server. (default is 21)
Also, make sure your firewall will allow incoming connections to that port. |

You have to use an upload script for someone to upload a file via the web browser.
Otherwise, they will need an FTP client. |

Your sig distracted me. I would delete that if I were you.
Do a search for upload AND script in this forum. |
