I am connecting to the internet through an http tunnel on a public server and because of this my internet's speed is very slow. I got abyss web server because the software i use for my http tunnel allows you to access it through your own personal server (if you have one) and I would like to do this because it will greatly increase the speed of my internet access through my http tunnel. All that i need to know in order for me to do this is how do i know or figure out the host name or IP address and the port of(or used for connecting too) my server? |

Get your public IP from http://www.IPChicken.com
The port for Abyss is 80 by default, unless you change it.
If you have a router, you will need to open a port on that and forward it to your PC on the port Abyss is running on. Most routers instructions can be found on http://www.portforward.com _________________

You could also use Active Ports to see wich ports are being used on your computer and by wich programs they're being used.
It's a small freeware program and you can get it at http://www.protect-me.com/freeware.html _________________ The insane dane who loves AWS :D
