How do I Upload website files to the server?
Also, How do I configure my router so outside people can see my website?
And.. How do I turn it into a actual web address? (i.e.: www,example.com) |

By default, all website files go into your htdocs folder. Usually, this is just a drag-n-drop procedure.

You need to setup your router for port-forwarding.
Go to PortForward.com and find your router make and model.

You need to purchase a domain name from a credible domain registrar and configure it to point to your IP.
The most common registrars are www.godaddy.com www.registerfly.com and www.namecheap.com.

Using the Search button and reading the documentation is preferred before asking basic questions like this. |
