| Hi can anyone tell me if you can to install a Mysql data base on abyss its just i want to use mambo i have php installed but not MySQL thanks |

I think there is a tutorial on http://trustabyss.com ... I can't remember if that is just for phpmyadmin or MySQL... |

The latest version of mysql is rather easy to install and set up now, on a windows based system. I found it harder to download the software from there servers then I did to install it.
Just remember to turn off all antivirus and firewalls, before you install it ore youll never get it to connect right.
The older versions never had an installer you had to do it the manual way, the new versions have a nice installer for windows. Oh ya and the mysql administer is now in a stand off installer. so you have to download 2 things. |
