[b] PLEASE HELP ME
When i type in http://griffco.dyndns.org
(which isnt up 24/7) so you wont be able to try it
basicly it changes to http://griffco.dyndns.org/main.htm
and then i am in my router config and i can change settings to it
my friends tell me they cant access my website from there computers
PLEASE HELP
i have a BT voyager 2100 wireless ADSL router
samgriffco@hotmail.com
is my msn
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!
also logging in via my public ip addy takes me into my router
PLEASE I BEG PLEASE help me with this, i really wish to have a web server!![/b] |

Search the forum for loopback to find out why you keep getting your router login. You will need to login to your router and set up port forwarding before others will be able to view your site. You will not be able to access your site using your internet IP.
Reading the sticky topic in this section of the forum would have cleared all of this up.

Its safer to list any domain containing abyss as either of theirs =P

Just remember that when you need to remember our msn addy's , look
for the word "trust" in my MSN and you will know that its my MSN. LateR!

this is the exact problem i am having!!!!
i am using win xp home, u.s.robotics secure connect adsl 4-port router, obviously with a adsl connection.
the problem is, i can get into my router, from my external ip and it's internal ip. but then comes the problem; i cant find port forwarding, but i have found port trigerring, which i guess is the same. but if comes up with a screen that has too many fields to enter, and if i leave them blank its says "** feild is blank!" also, with the input data that i do have, i dont know where to put it!! i went throught the process that is at the top (by griffco) but no luck. What i want to happen, is viewers enter my external ip and/or a port and they are taken to the abyss servers homepage (my homepage).
