| thanks aprelium for making such a good web server, from when i pressed download it took 5 min. to set up. :D the main reason im setting it up is so i can veiw music files and such at school. i have a dsl connection will it be fast enough for me and 2 or 3 other users to surf the site and download music? |

yeh thats definitely fast enough
512k divided by 3 ppl = about 170k per person at least, which is plenty. |

check with ur ISP if they allow u to setup a webserver. If ur upload is higher than 128kbs than probability they won't! If you violate their Acceptable Use Policy, they will cut ur DSL connection for a day or so. They are really strict about this, they even won't let you setup ur server even for "personal" uses.
PS: I also listen to music and video @ school from my computer. |
