I am developing a widgit using SQLite but find that sqlite_open (for example) is not working.
PHP version 5.4.16 that was downloaded from this site.
Abyss server, latest version X1 also downloaded from this site.
Set up and configuration.
PHP is working fine except for SQLite.
System is a Windows install. _________________ If you can remember the last thing you were working on, your not working hard enough! |

I have checked and phpinfo() shows that SQLite is enabled but I am still getting an error when I try to use SQLite. _________________ If you can remember the last thing you were working on, your not working hard enough! |

The problem is PHP support itself.
SQLite2 has been dropped altogether which is not very helpful to the millions of people already using it and they have no backwards comparability with the new SQLite3
So anyone running a SQLite2 database need to create a SQLite3 database and convert SQLite2 to SQLite3 before web hosts upgrade PHP to PHP5.4 which appears to be the point where SQLite2 has been dropped.
So I am working on my conversion tool and upgrading my scripts and I suggest that others do likewise if they use SQLite2. _________________ If you can remember the last thing you were working on, your not working hard enough! |
