into ABYSS server. I already used up all the resources of my brain. |

You must have a static IP address for your server ... Then you can register for a domain name, like www.register.com. |

You do NOT need a cutesey web address to use your server. Instead enter your IP address in this format:
http://YOUR_IP_ADDRESS
Works every time :? |

The IP address is assigned to you from your Internet Service Provider. If you use some sort of dial-up connection, your IP address is assigned to your dial-up device.
Check your IP address on http://www.whatismyip.com.
If you want others to access your web server, they must enter your IP address in their browser Address field. |

Simple!
You must first go to http://www.dns2go.com, then you'll be able to register your domain name (www.simon.com) or a free subdomain name (www.simon.d2g.com). After the registration, you must download the dns2go software.
When you have completed the download, the only thing you have to do is configure the software with your website address and the key that you received by e-mail.
Then type into your browser your website address and be sure Abyss is running.
(This method is called "Dynamic DNS". You can search for other similar services on the web) |
