You have to downgrade your MySQL.

Doesn't it say upgrade? If so, before I tried v5 same problem... I am using 4.1 now (which is what gave me that error

It says to upgrade your MySQL client not server. You had 2 choices, downgrade your MySQL server or see if there a new version of the message board. For less headaches i told you to downgrade your MySQL server.

That wont fix his problem. The problem is with the server, not the client.
