|
|
My website consists of a simple frame set ie top frame and main frame. The problem i have is that the top frame takes a long time to load (minutes), even though graphically it is very light. (11K) The main page loads instantly. I have an upstream transfer rate of approx 30Kbs so I dont see this as being a problem. If I put graphics in the main page it loads very quickly. Any ideas?

Could you provide a link to your site or post the HTML code here? |

Thanks!! |
Your website seems to be offline , possibly because of a router/firewall but
if you would like some help getting it online , just ask because I can help. |

Might just be me but that seemed to load just fine. Text in the bottom frame loaded first but then the upper frame immediately after...
Are you sure it isn't just taking a while for the Flash menu to initialise? For what it does at the moment you could have achieved much the same with a separate graphic and javascript/DHTML menu... Especially the fact you seem to have 5 (6?) separate Flash objects there just to create the top frame graphic! |
