I have lists of files inside my site, under many different directories. For some reason my users can only see the files up to the end of A and thats it :-/
It was working fine a week ago, even days ago. But suddenly today they can't see files beyond A. I have the same problem if I try to log into the site |

How many files is inside this folder , it may help to increase the server
timeout so that it keeps running untill a certain point , I have mine set
for 120 seconds , you should do the same and see if that helps. |

cool. thanks, i'm fairly new to aprelium...wasn't even aware there was a timeout!
i'll try that and see what happens. i do have quite a bit of files per directory.
*Edit*
After bumping that up to 120 I'm still having the problem. I now see that the problem is only in 1 directory...where I have 291 file folders. These aren't the actual files...just folders so I didn't think that the server would time out on folders...
As I said before, it was working fine a few days ago. I haven't made any changes other than putting new content into the site. |

Bump the timeout to more , the more files you have in that directory , the
more time it takes to list them , use 500 seconds if you can , and increase
the keep alive requests to like 50 , this should hopefully fix it. LateR! |

k...i'll try that. its just that the thing was working perfectly days ago. very fast. this is running on my athlon 64 3200 comp. 1gig of ram, 3 hard drives. cable modem connection. its just odd that it just started.
This evening i even uninstalled and reinstalled it thinking that maybe i'd messed something up in the config files. No such luck. it does the same thing. But now I can see one "B" listing :) |
