|
i want to connect to a pc on my network that is running the web server. the web server seems to be running fine and i can connect if i give the address
http://192.168.0.3:8000 or http://127.0.0.1:8000 but i want to connect to the server without specifying port number.
the help doc says i should assign server the port 80, i have done that but still cant directly go to http://192.168.0.3 and bring up the home page
any suggestions on what i should do/check? |

* Check that nothing else is running on port 80 on your machine, eg. ad blockers, skype, DC++ variants etc.
* Check for error messages in the Abyss status window about being unable to listen on port 80.
* Check the PC isn't firewalled on port 80.
... for starters. |
