I have a web site which is a frameset split of 4 frames top to toe, the frame labled up as wmain get written over by the paypal payment page.

When this happens, the web site ceases to function and any clicks on menu items causes the frames to popup in individual windows.

This is corrected by a site referesh from the refresh button in the browser and this resets the frame reference wmain.

What IM trying to do is to monitor for this change and to change it back to its orignal setting of wmain.

the problem....

How do I check the frame name reference of a frameset using javascript? does anyone here know; having asked in some web tech sites, they dont seem to know, or maybe they do and dont want to divulge that information.

one of the problems I have is peoples ability to comprehend the dilema, its not as simple as 'view source' as one muppet suggested (really, is comprehension not covered in english any more?)

Yes I have asked paypal who have not bothered to answer my question (ignorant I know but seems that if its nothing to do with money, they are not intrested so I have given up on wasting anymore of my time with them.

I had no problem setting up a forum board and stuffing it into my girlfriends web site, customising it and other forum stuff, paypal on the other hand is being a total *itch.

Any suggestions, try me, I may have already tried it, too many things to list but have a go.

Simple enough to replicate, a simple 2 frame split, put a couple of buttons and call in paypal, try to navigate using the site buttons you create to see the result.

K, thanks, I will look at it, I am not entirely sure how IM going to pull this one off, IM assuming that paypal if the person follows through will return the page to its former glory.... Well the thoughs nice but doubt it in real life.

It seems that for now I have to stick with a pop up to resolve the issue, incidentally I tried nesting within another set of frames and it didnt like it one bit, prolly because it causes cookie issues.

Cheers
