|

Hello,
On a P3-733/256mb I installed FreeBSD v. 5.21. I don't use X window. After installing and executing Abyss (as root), I get the message:
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libc_r.so.4" not found
Am I missing something here ? Is there a dependency I did not install ?
If so, please tell me ?!
I tried several FreeBSD installations, that all failed. I realy would like to use FreeBSD and Abyss !
thanx, Frank _________________ He who thinks to know little, knows much already. |

The current version is compiled for FreeBSD 4.x and higher and so refers to FreeBSD 4.x libraries. So you'll have to install the FreeBSD 4.x binary support packages in your FreeBSD 5.

|
|
Well, I get the thing started, but when I open a 2nd session on the server to use lynx to connect to port 9999, it tells me that the password is not correct.
When I try to remotely change the config via 9999, I get the message: Cannot save the configuartion file. (no spell err !) I changed the .conf file manually with user root (not allowed) and as a user who is member of group 0, still nothing. I am out of options, please, any help in the right direction ?
Thanx,

The problem is related here to file permissions. We recommend reading http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4484 for more tips about how to correctly set them. If the problem persists, please contact support@aprelium.com . |
