can someone tell me how to set the ip address for the external ip that people not on my server can connect to i have my server up but only i can view my website , when i view it i get thisd in the address bar http://127.0.0.1/ people outside cannot connect to me by hitting my external ip ?
is there some setting that makes my server point to my external ip? |

| goto www.dyndns.org and sign up for an account... Once you have an account, you can setup a Dynamic IP to DNS or a Static IP to DNS which when used in conjunction with updating software (available for free) your machines IP can be tracked. Even if you dont use the service, you can obtain your true IP address and not the proxy assigned one that your ISP may have between its network and the outside world. |
