im running a server - and its sort of like a dump server - so i want indexing, but i have it all set up, but the names are so short. My program names are descriptive, but all i get is progra....gram (or something to that nature) The name is cut off in the middle.
Is there anything I can do that would make the directory index file show the whole name of all the files in the dir?
Ill make an example
I have a program called Nicks_Great_Program_of_Greatness.exe
In the directory index it shows up as Nicks_G...ness.exe
I want it to show the whole name
Thanks |

You must be using a very old copy of Abyss Web Server , you need
to upgrade to version 1.2 or 2.0 Beta 1 and then the file will show up
as the original name in the index listing. What version are you using ? |

Go to the 'about Abyss Web Server' in its main window to have the full version. Anyway, you seem to run a very old version so we recommend to upgrade. Download the new installer package and run it, it will do the upgrade automatically. It's one-minute operation. New version doesn't have the file names limits in listings. _________________ Support Team

I have another question though
I can't right click and save target as, is this my browser, or has it been disabled. Is there a way I can turn it back on?
Thanks |
