ok-I submitted to it. It does not have a confirmation page, I am assuming that is correct.

And can someone tell me how or if I the poll on this post can be changed or elimminated. Since I am closing or replacing that part of my web site.

I think the majority of the forum members agree that CENSORED with Abyss web server isn't exactly the best route for a personal website.

Someone tell me why all of a sudden no one can get to my site?

I have been trying several diffrent dns names such as:

http://unreal04.no-ip.org

http://68.114.114.3/index.htm

here are the paths I am ussing. Some please tell me if they work for them. I have installed a new firewall so it may be the trouble. it should not be. I have configured it to allow abyss connections. Any someone let me know. This abyss server is becomming to much like work. I did this just for fun. But it is turning into a job. So I am getting very annoyed and may shut this down.

So if you can help. Please help.

Well apparently you didn't configure the firewall right. What kind is it?

it is called f-secure. I got it from my isp. I have been thinking though they may be blocking the server. to keep me from hosting. just not sure. My isp is charter.net.

I got rid of that fire wall and went back to my old one. Hopefully it will work now. If not I am lost again.

No, it still doesn't work. Change the port on Abyss to something else, and try it.

It looks like it works--your ISP most likely started to block port 80.

I am still having trouble installing php nuke though. Do you think me having phpbb forum installed could cause a conflict with php nuke?

Sorry but I have had to leave abyss. My isp I think is in a battle with me on blocking my ports. So I am having to move everything to a another server outside of my own. No compaints against abyss. I t is a good web server.
