hi, i have recently uninstalled and reinstalled mysql and follow some tutotial of this forum and this website 'http://os17fan.cjb.net/web/'. Well, the turtorial found in these two places differ in some ways and I've followed both to set up mysql and php. Problem is, I don't know if my sql is password protected, and if it's is, how can I find out the password and username?
Which tutorial would you recommend me to follow? The one found in this forum or http://os17fan.cjb.net/web/? It's quiyte confusing to follow two |

As you go on with my tutorial , I explain how to password protect
MySQL and the phpMyAdmin web page it self so read it carefully
I recommend using this tutorial:
http://os17fan.cjb.net/
Note: May not always be powered by Abyss Web Server
it will be officially powered by Abyss Web Server when the
pro version is finally released , I try many servers lol. |

To see if MySQL is password protected, look for a "user" and "pass" entry in the my.ini file found in your system root. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
