you have to run one of the update clients on your computer at all times:

Also, check your router (if you have one). Sometimes they have a built in updater which you can enable so there would be no need to run one on your computer. |

I'd recommend DNSer as extremely lightweight, quick to set up and reliable. Works very well with my Dyndns account.

Sorry to bump this topic back up, but I'm having issues with my ip not updating correctly. What IP updater do you use for DynDNS, No-IP, etc...?
I have tried Dnsyer and DeeDNS. I could not get Dnsyer to work, and DeeDNS is the one giving me problems. It doesn't want to seem to update the IP correctly. I'm constantly having to force an update, as my ip changes on almost a 2 day basis. I am not home enough to see when the IP actually changes, but from what I've gathered from the logs it changes roughly every 2 days. Unless I make changes to my router config then it changes instantly.
I'm willing to try Dnsyer again as that seemed like a decent program, but I would need some help in troubleshooting. I don't have much experience when it comes to messing with ini/config files.
Thanks! |

Im using that client right now and it keeps on saying the "Absuive account" warning everytime i check it. It tried seting it to check like every 60 min or something and it still says it. _________________
