A bit complicated ? It has an easy mode. You can't say that Notepad is suitable for developing a large website, nor is it easier than a proper editor. The original post asks for an alternative to Frontpage - Notepad doesn't really come under that category. Maybe a text editor with syntax highlighting would be useful for a small site, but it's still no real solution. |

You may want to use namo web editor. I've used it before, it's fairly easy to use, but I've not used it sense version 3, its now on 6!
also it's only a 30 day trail but it's simple to use.

if you want a pure text highlighter editor, I would recommend AceHTML Freeware

He he, I tought atleast one person world have said, MSI, or word
MS word has a webdesign extenshion, view the tool bars for that, MSI is a more advanced tool just search your system for it.
these are both free unless
a) you dont have word or a win OS, (openoffice.org has it built into there software as well)
b) you are going to sell your self it.. _________________ come vist my site, www.gloucestertraining.no-ip.com |

MS Word creates the worst HTML. Its full of proprietary IE extensions and breaks in other browsers.
OpenOffice.org creates HTML pretty good, but nothing is as good as hand coding it yourself. _________________ How many forum members does it takes to change a light bulb? |
