Id like to share what I did with abyss webserver

Here is my website , its based as a

it just went live tonight :) hope you guys like the layout

it only takes about 10 mins to install if you know the basics on cgi
if you dont they have awesome 'free' tech suport on the support forum there

well i agree with you, but he does have a working model of the script. i would like to see more working models of scripts as to get an idea of what would work for myself.

Actually im not spreading CENSORED on here as you can see that this forum is 'only' an example for those who might be interested in doing something like this on their own server ( thats why you dont see CENSORED in the forum ) the link is only known about here on this thread and nowhere else.

But anyways, I hope you guys here get the idea of the way the forum software works, and what "could" and I stress "could" be done with it.

I was just wondering how the hell do I configure this abyss server. Everything seems to be running ok, I installed it corectly. Does anyone have a few minutes to explain a little bit more than just how it works.... "Configuration help desperately needed"....

have you logged into your console properly?
if you have you can do all of the server config issues in there
post a more in depth question as to what you want to configure
and I can help you better.

it must take a little more then what i know, i can't get perl to work at all
i cant even tell if it is working.

i installed it but when i do perl sample.pl it opens the folder that perl is located in, does not open the sample.pl file that comes with perl
