I am having a problem running perl w/ Abyss. Each time I do http://<my-site>.com/cgi-bin/ABBY/Abby.pl it wants to download the script and not run it (For all of you who do not know, ABBY is a message board system). Abby.pl is the file I need to access to use the board. WHat did I do wrong? Why is it wanting to download? |

Well probably because it isn't associated with the interpreter correctly. Make sure you have set up your Perl interpreter to interact with Abyss perfectly. Go right now and check all the file paths to make sure they're corrent. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

I reccomend that you read it, but to save you some time, most likely you didn't associate the extensions under the CGI Properties or your MIME types are wrong. _________________ http://jmoschetti45.com |

Well unless he messed with the MIME types, they should be set up correctly. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Well thats what kept PHP from working for me, so I figure it could be the same with PERL. I have the download problem too when I make strange file extensions and view them in IE if I don't set up the MIME types in Abyss. _________________ http://jmoschetti45.com |
