Firstly, your Win XP firewall must be disabled.
In Norton you must let abyss access the web on the server port.
If you use a router to access the web you must setup virtual hosting (port forwarding)
Also the ip you provided (127.0.0.1) is your internal ip and always points to your pc, all pc?s use this is their internal address so it just points it at the users pc.
Before you can use your domain name you need your external ip address to work, find it out here:

You need to find out if your ISP has provided you with a static or dynamic IP. If you have a static IP it will be very much simpler setting up the domain name -> IP part... I'm guessing you're with Freeserve, and I'm pretty sure it won't be static, but worth double checking so you don't end up taking a bunch of extra unnecessary steps.
Assuming you bought your domain name from Active Domain, it looks like you should be able to use the Manage Domain option on their site to set the domain to resolve to your IP. Since I don't have a domain with them I can't login and check, but that'd be the first place I'd try. If you can't change it there, you could email their support to find out how to have it resolve to your IP, or go straight onto using ZoneEdit.com |

OK. This is what you do:
In the "MX" record tab, add your IP address. Then use the nameservers you have been provided with and configure them in your domain control panel for your domain name. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Why would they want to set a Mail eXchange record ? They haven't mentioned once that they're trying to set up an email server... :?: |

Oh, my mistake. I sometimes get "A" (Isn't that IP?) records confused with "MX" records. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
