I really hate MySQL, or any SQL for that matter. Just to retaliate against my hate, when I attempt to view my forums, I receive this message:

I have no idea what that means, but I know it isn't good.
Is there a knowledgable SQL person out there...? Please help!?

This error can be caused by a bug in PhpBB who is sending a bad request to MySQL, or it is because your PhpBB tables aren't correctly installed in MySQL (which is the more likely).

I agree with you in that they aren't installed correctly. I think that my database got acidentally messed up.
What can I do now? If I want to uninstall phpBB, what do I go about doing?
Note: I have phpMyAdmin installed, so I am able to manually delete the tables.

If you have a database for phpBB already , delete it , than
go to your htdocs folder and delete your phpBB folder!

Well besides the fact that all my phpBB data will be deleted, I guess that is my only option.
Oh well... Guess it is time to have weekly backups of my website.

Before deleting everything, try repairing the PhpBB tables using the Repair feature of PhpMyAdmin.

A couple days too late... Tables are gone. Actually, I might have tried that function but gotten no luck.
