Have just start my first webserver. And when i write my IP number, http://xx.xxx.xxx.xx to get to my server. It doesn´t work. But if i write http://xx.xxx.xx.xx/index.html so is there no problem to get throw.
Why ??? Where is the problem ?

Typing "xx.xxx.xx.xx.x.x..xxx" isn't going to get you anywhere here, its ok, we aren't hackers, just give us your ip.
Just typing "http://then your ip" will get you to your webserver directory, if you type it with "/index.html" added on, it directs it straight to the proper link, thats called direct linking.
I'm probably too tired to fully understand what your talking about, but i hope that helps.
Note: If you don't have any sites in your server yet, typing the first won't get you anywhere, and typing the second will go to your directory, keep that in mind?

dont give us your ip..
go to your abyss console
> Home > Server Configuration > Advanced > Server Parameters
and makes sure you have your index.html listed |
