				| I've been trying to host a website from my computer for a while now. It's a pain in the ass. I've run into numerouse problems, so I was able to fix, some I just worked around, and now this,,, a brand new problem. My website is not viewable to anyone but myself. It can only be access internaly. It wasn't always like this. I type http://24.218.30.98 and it works in my webbrowser, but not anyone else, and it doesn't work if I try to see it through a proxy.. does anyone know were I screwed up. I made a website before without this problem, I don't know what I did differently.. |

				| It didn't have anything to do with the webserver. It had something to do with no-ip service. It fixed itself.. Thanks.. |

				nope I guess that was just my imagination.  It never worked since I reinstalled everything.  Is there some sort of setting I accidently added that made it so the only person who can access your webpage is yourself from your own computer??  I screwed up somewere... :{

I have a .tk address set up. When I type mysite.tk it will work, but only from my own computer.... WTF?? |

				ethereal,

It seems that you're using a wrong external IP (you're only using an IP that works locally) or that your ISP is blocking the web site port. _________________ Support Team

				| I use the same ip that I get from http://www.aprelium.com/ip/ so would that be a wrong external IP? I aslo tried installing a different webserver, and closed out the abyss webserver. It does the same thing with the other webserver. It worked before I don't see why my ISP would block it... If I call them up and ask them if its blocked, or to unblock do you think they would? |
