umm...the server puts my ip as 127.0.0.1 when it 24.244.**.***
why does it do this...will it still work when ip is 127.0.0.1? |

127.0.0.1 is the loopback IP, used for traffic from your own machine back to itself. If you're viewing it from your own machine, you will appear as 127.0.0.1 in the logs. It won't work for visitors - they will be directed to their own machines if they enter 127.0.0.1, and get an error if they are not running their own webserver.
Give the 24.244.*.* address to people you want to visit the site. |
