I was just wondering how to set up multiple error 404 messages and assign them to their proper places, Anyone know?

Do you mean unique 404 pages for each subsite you are hosting ?

Looking at the Abyss configuration options, it looks like you'd have to use PHP and a script similar to the multiple sites creator to handle different errors on different paths...

I don't, but I'm working on modifying the multiple sites script to be a multiple subdomain 404 thingy. Not sure if it's going to work yet, but it's worth a try :D
