To Ianhull: your note indicates that you have "index.htm" file in your htdocs root folder, and it works, but you have an "index.html" file in your daves folder, but it doesn't work. Is that correct?
If so, check your Abyss console, under Server Configuration | Advanced | Server Parameters, and make sure that under "Index Files", you have defined both "index.htm" and "index.html" as valid index file names. _________________ Gene Chan genechan@vcn.bc.ca

There is no htaccess on Abyss.
Ianhull: When you browse http://yoursite/daves, what do you get? (an error, a directory listing?) _________________ Support Team
