From now on, minor releases will fix the remaining bugs (if any). All our work is focused on the next major release.

Next major release version will be 1.1.7? BTW, is there a purpose for first two digit? I notice the last digit kept on change as new version release.

I think the next major release will be 1.1.8 or 1.1.9 as this new release 1.1.6 will not work with cgi paths if you put /index.php. :(

The first digit indicates the generation of the server core, the second indicates the level of features added to the server (SSI/Access control/etc...), the third is for minor updates and bug fixes.
