Mail server setup?

Hi all!

Cound someone please walk me throught the process of setting up a mail server. I have tried in the past but failed.

I have a TLD (http://www.hiwd-dev.com). And I am running abyss as my http server.

I am going to setup the mail server on a different computer which has windows 2000 pro installed.

First, download Mercury/32. Then, run it, and set up a user account (in the "Local Users" option). Mercury/32 is usually configured right out of the box, although you should also add your domain name to the list of allowed domains if it isn't already configured from the initial setup. You can just run through all the options, and see which ones you want on or off.

If you use a router, forward port 25 to your computer.
