Abyss do have a feature call "Access" to let group or user to access or deny that directory. This will protect the folder / directory in question that you want to protect.
You can try other mean by MySQL or similar database and with some script to handle Username / Password to gain access to that area. That will be more complicate. For further informatin regarding this, please goto any website like hotscript.com or echoecho.com .
