When can we expect a new official release of Abyss web server 8)
If you can , can you please put banwidth throttling on the next release , not this one but the other

Why not on this one? Since it not official, it can implement whatever until it become official. Then it is too until next release.

why is there a new file in my main directory that does nothing? its titled dp.txt what the heck is it for? whats it do? .... im curious |

I don't know about that file you found in your directory but I think you should contact aprelium for that issue 8)

if your using the latest beta you have it in there too its in the htdocs folder
I dont really see the purpose of having to have a blank text file that does nothing..
I sent aprelium a message about it but never got a response back from them... anyways let me know if you have one there too.

I did not upgrade to the newest beta , I only download the new official update and not the testing versions , aprelium can take up to 1 or 2 days depending how busy they are 8)

I am not sure how long Aprelium take to answer email but as for their forum seem to be once a day.

There will be no more features additions to the current beta release.
The dp.txt mystery is explained in http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1812&highlight= .
We try to answer the forum requests every day except when we are very very busy. We answer every email request, it may take up to 48 hours to answer some of them. Of course, it takes less time to answer some one asking "how to install PHP" than replying to questions related to special configuration problems or scripts that seem to not work with Abyss.

We're a small company with a few people. We have to answer email support requests, check the forums and help people. Besides, we are improving Abyss, testing it, tracking problems and possible bugs. And last but not least, we're working on the future professional version. Is it enough to say "we're busy"??? :D
