I know my ip, I have isnstalled Abyss and have signed up on no-ip.com. I would like to know how people can access files form my pc on the no-ip.com account.
I have downloaded DirectEngine and the no-ip duc aswell. please help. |

The easiest way is to stick whatever you want to share into your "htdocs" dir then give them the url ( your no-ip.com name ) and they should be able to see whatever's in that directory by going to -http://your.no-ip-name.com/filename.extension. (-http://joe.no-ip.com/file.zip)
If you have a lot of files, I suggest FTP - something like Bullet Proof FTP Server. It's easier to setup with user/pass accounts and easier to manage. |
