is anybody going to provide a tutorial for installing PHP 5.2.4?
w/ mysql 5.0.45?
mainly what I need to know is, what extensions do I need to enable so I can have e-mail and gd2 and the rest of the stuff so I can run SMF and MKPORTAL. |

There is nothing specific to 5.2.4. We already have the preconfigured package and the only difference with earlier versions is that you'll have to set "Type" to "Standard" from now on (instead of "PHP Style").
Regarding MySQL, you can install any version you'd like to use and it will work fine with 5.2.4.
