When I try to go to phpMyAdmin (2.10.0-beta1) I get this message:
#2003 - De server reageert niet (no reaction of server)

Trying to open TNG I was told that TNG does not comminicate with the database.

Everything worked fine until I restarted my computer this morning.

Is there anyway to get the whole thing going again?

Make sure MySQL is running. That error suggests it is not.

That's the problem. I don't know how.
Tried different setups in the Start up method of Abyss Web Server. But that didn't help.
In Processes of the Task Manager I only see that abysssws.exe is loaded twice with 664 Kb and 380 Kb in memory. But no sign of MySql.

Hope you can help me on this.

Regards,
Hans

After resetting my firewall I can get acces to the program that uses the data base andMySql is shown in the Processes menu.
But I still have no acces to phpMyAdmin.

hanswind,

PhpMyAdmin reports that it cannot connect to MySQL. So the problem is not with Abyss Web Server.

Check your MySQL setup and why MySQL is not running or is refusing connections.

Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > MySQL > Start

Then right click MySQL, properties, set it to automatic, apply and close the windows. Then try your application again.

Thanks for your advice.
It's up and running again.

Cheers,
Hans
