I read on some site that you can host your own DNS server and register your own domain for free...you just have to host the server that connects them? Is this true or is someone lying, if true can someone tell me where to get such a program? And for consideration aprelium, maybe you should add some kind of free domain registration to your server. I'm sure businesses would like that, psch..i would |

So far such a request is impossible. Not really impossible but expect to pay out your ears or get notarized by 4000 lawyers all across the universe. I believe but am not too sure you might have to deal with ICANN at http://www.icann.org/ and InterNIC at http://www.internic.net/
Good luck... _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez

I think they're the initial public DNS step for commercial business in public DNS services. I am not too sure and can be wrong. I believe what you might have heard about is how you can give yourself a domain name over the network... Its only cool though if you have a really large network.
Good luck :) _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez
