I think I posted this once about 2 mins ago, but I must have came off impolite or something to have my post deleted, I am having problems with the new v2.4 X1 server(I just upgraded from v2.3), I cannot access my site from any PC except the server itself, and ran a port scan, and cannot even see that port 80 is open, I'm am very sad right now as I'm dropping customers quicker than flies, when I goto my site from the server it looks bad, there are no images, and I get a dialog box saying "The procedure empte_string could not be located in the dynamic link library php5ts.dll" anyone know how to fix this, thanx to all in advance

Sounds to me like PHP is screwed up. Try reinstalling it and switching back to the old CGI interface if you use FastCGI.
Are you able to access static (non-PHP) pages on your server?
Are you able to access the server from inside your network by using your internal IP address?

You probably pressed the Preview button instead of Submit. |

ok, I can see all images and colors fine if it is an html page(like my error404 page), but only from the server itself, I have never had to port forward before with v2.3 I just upgraded like 10 mins ago, and all my port scanners say port 80 is not open, I can try to switch up some configuration, but as far as I know, this is not working... _________________

You might have a software firewall blocking the new version of Abyss. Firewalls often checks if the file has changed since the last time it connected to the internet to prevent viruses from infecting a file and connecting to the internet.
Have you tried to restart the server? Have you tried to shut down all firewalls temporarily?
If that does not work, try to change the port number Abyss is listening to. |

I'm in the process of reinstalling PHP, and soon I will mess around with the ports, but as far as I know, I have no firewall except for a hand coded PHP one that I and a friend have been working on, and it only denies access to a few proxy IP's... _________________
